I'm Valerie. I carried on the paternal family tradition of having a hemorrhagic stroke at an early age — me at 45. Suddenly, I was retired.
Due to surviving a near fatal truck wreck, I'm a card
carrying member of the Traumatic Brain Injury Club. This makes stroke recovery all the more interesting! From all this, I've come to earn to do the opposite of what neurology
"experts" direct me to do and NOT take the pricey medication they prescribe.
Life goes on and as a result of physical rehabilitation not going well — as advised — I discovered that if I Sally Forth and do what I used to do
around the house, I'm using my limbs as I need to. Much like my alter egos at odds with each other, I have to re-calibrate my thinking and doing endeavors by evenly matching
that of my opponent.
As I learned in citizen's police training — always match force to my opponent's force. If they use a knife, I use a knife. They use a gun, I use a gun
and so on.... While I'm a firm believer in overkill, I have to restrain myself to match wits, so to speak.
Where I see us heading into the end times, I have to prepare myself — mentally and physically — and probably NOT be evenly
matched. To the best of my ability, I'll utilize overkill and light the fuse at any time.... Who's with me???With all of my newfound free time, I did a lot of stroke recovery documenting in
addition to learning to appreciate arts and crafts like never before — hence
BlueCoyote GraphX — where I document my crafting adventures and sell customized items. This is also where I learned to like coffee. With reduced caffeine
so I wouldn't stroke out again from high blood pressure and work stress....

The PossumZombie was an unexpected rival to my alter ego, the HitBunny. It's also a very animated version of myself that has the energy to take
on struggles I face each day in my stroke recovery AND in the political strife I have to confront however I do whereas the HitBunny is more like a sniper — you won't see it coming or going.
Think Spy vs Spy....
For all intents and purposes, this site is now the umbrella to the other websites I spend my time on as a result of my career in IT and web design. I was
in IT at the digital calendar switch of 1999 to 2000. To those not yet born — nothing catastrophic happened. I still find ways to use my old programming skills with new technology cos I'm
still a lazy nerd these days. While I'm also still a photographer and dog mom at heart, I don't photograph near as much
as I used to and our pack of northern breed dogs is sadly thinning. That's where my web designing plays an important factor — I'm still in the game in various respects. I have
enough to keep me physically and mentally engaged with what I do in my "free" time.
I'm also a survivor of a near fatal truck wreck and a hemorrhagic stroke. Now with a lot of said free time (forced into an early retirement time...) on my hands,
this is where BlueCoyote comes into play — It's where I
use arts and crafts as my occupational therapy. And a place to escape the political turbulence....
I call this section
"shenanigans" cos this is where the new and / or goofy stuff goes for now. The "zombie" element in all of this started with the political shit-throwing. As a God-fearing constitutional conservative,
he current political weather and the proverbial mountain I
chose / choose to stand and / or die on — and what's trying to do to me. While I'll acknowledge the fact I'm weathering the storm at the amusement of what I'm finding online in various forms of
social media and conservative news sites, I chose not to link any of these sites to me — at this time. Should I get "vocal" about any of it and include my perspective, trust anything I post will be
lain with sarcasm cos that's how I roll....
I
was never a coffee drinker until after the stroke so I had to
learn what coffee I liked and where to get it and how I liked I it. I definitely prefer a medium Arabica roast. With cream? Sugar? Irish cream?... Somewhere along the line I learned to loooove
Bulletproof
coffee! As it turns out, I don't like their fancy price or taste so I used Camberlain Coffee until they made it clear they are clearly liberals.
In serious caffeine moderation, I decided I prefer the taste of Death Wish
coffee and a few other brands such as Peets,
Chamberlain Coffee,
Black Rifle Coffee Company,
Global Roast Coffee and
Flavor Fantasies.
It wasn't until after I read this article that I learned to fully appreciate the physical affects of Bulletproof coffee:
What It's Like To Drink Bulletproof Coffee Every Morning For Two Weeks.
"Bulletproof Coffee" became "Bulletproof Latte". How to assemble my Bulletproof Latte is easy now after plenty of practice. With one usable hand and the other for counter balance, it requires
everything to be an assembly line. Seems "easy and rational" but....
When I'm seen drinking out of one of these custom Yeti tumblers, please understand how commited and / or crazy I am to the cause to help forward my efforts in remaining focused on that
particular project. The websites I have for RabidJackal, HitBunny, PossumZombie, BlueCoyote and OrionEngnr
are secured for a good long time after I lost hitbunny.com as it was up for renewal at a time I just wasn't using the domain Hitbunny.com name after it lapsed and while I
was recovering from a serious stroke, some pencil weenie named
Matthew Klein with DropCatch.com 887 LLC came in and swiped it for "simple to spell and remember" words. It's for sale at $ 1,228.00. He can keep it. I settled on keeping hitbunny.site and hitbunny.me.
Next in line.... While recovering from my health shenanigans, I keep busy with Alusky / husky dog grooming and website building as I used to do — by hand. That means knowing how to
code and program. It may not be what I went to programing school for but it's what I do. To keep up with technology, I figured out which language I preferred. I'm middle aged and programming for my own
amusement. I found website CSS being the easiest and best for this disabled 50+ year old! Long live
W3Schools for teaching me all I need to know at this time for my websites.
Keeping my brain engaged (and amused) after my stroke on top of a Traumatic Brain Injury is not easy: consider it engaging your enemy combatant in a small-scale physiological war against yourself.
Your enemy is in your head and can read your thoughts. You don't know if you're losing your mind or overcoming fears in a good or bad way. So stay focused and pick a direction to amuse myself with,
even if it's that conundrum of a briar patch....
Next in my dossier is the
importance of Alusky (husky x malamute) grooming! While our dogs have their own website, I'm sharing a little bit here to add to the mix of why I feel like a zombie of sorts. And here is where I
reinforce my need for caffeine — In my RabidJackal tumbler!
Grooming double coated northern breed dogs — in Texas — is not to be taken lightly.
